Plans are underway for a great event this September!

• 2012 will bring the 2nd Annual Quilt Across Texas Hop! This statewide event will be held during the month of September, 2012 and will include over 90 quilt shops located throughout the state of Texas. During the month, visitors are invited to stop at each shop participating in the event to take advantage of special Texas-themed quilt designs, quilt block patterns, giveaways, and prizes both on statewide and regional levels.

• RJR Fabrics has designed an exclusive fabric collection for the event. Only the quilt shops participating in the shop hop will have this fabric available to consumers. In addition, tote bags, a shop hop map, and a commemorative Quilt Across Texas pin will be available. Most shops will have various projects on display during the month to give inspiration and ideas on how to best use the wonderful fabric. View the fabrics here.
  
  
• To qualify for the prizes, a passport called The Guide will be required which will be stamped at each store when visited. The Guide will contain useful information about the shops that are involved, maps of Texas and other interesting facts. The Guide will be available at all participating shops for $5 and will contain a $5 coupon that is redeemable at any of the 90+ shops. The Guide can be purchased from any participating shop after June 1, 2012.

• 2012 Quilt Across Texas Scratch Offs are here! You will have a great time collecting a QAT Scratch Off card at each shop when your passport is stamped. These cards will be "YOU WON!" or "TRY NEXT SHOP". Each shop will provide a prize (free!) when you scratch off "YOU WON!". Just fun, fun, fun!
